SPAIN

Tailomarde Andalucia is specialized in private holiday to Spain.

The country is made up of 17 autonomous communities and 48 provinces.

There is a wealth of diversity and things to see in all corners of the country.

Whether you’d like to relax on the shore of a Balearic island, or hike the Picos de Europa in Asturias!

We can help you! Below is just a bit of information on some of the destinations around Spain.

Madrid

The country’s capital and located right in the centre of the Iberian Peninsula.

Madrid offers us the finest museums in the country, including the Prado, the Reina Sofia and the Thyssen.

We recommend you visit the Royal palace, enjoy a sunset at the Debod temple and have a long and leisurely stroll through the Retiro park.

It is also a wonderful base for you to explore the surrounding sights such as Toledo, Segovia, Ávila and much more.

Barcelona

Probably the most popular destination in Spain.

Barcelona has an incredible atmosphere and so much to see and do.

Get stuck into Gaudi’s weird and wonderful architecture, explore the gothic quarter, enjoy the sun soaked port and beach areas, shop until you drop, stroll through the Boqueria market.

If you want a day away from the city, we strongly recommend a trip up to the stunning Costa Brava with it’s quaint medieval towns, perfect Mediteranean beaches and contrasting countryside.

The Basque country

One of our favourite areas in Spain!

The Pais Vasco is growing in gastronomic renown, with a higher density of Michelin stars than anywhere else in the world.

It produces the most innovative chefs, the finest wines, has some of the best seafood around and offers us pintxos galore!

Stay a while in San Sebastian, one of Spain’s most beautiful city’s, visit the Guggenheim in Bilbao, drive down to the Rioja wine region or do the Michelin restaurant experience!!

El Camino de Santiago

Since the ninth century pilgrims have been travelling to Santiago, the burial place of the St James, one of the 12 apostles.

The pilgrimage grows in popularity every year and today, thousands of pilgrims enjoy hiking across Northern Spain along well-marked routes and with an impressive infrastructure of albergues, hotels and other accommodation to choose from.

We can help you hike the trail, or part of it, and we can show you around the rest of Galicia and Northwest Spain.
