Tailormade Andalucia organises the first ever renewable energy educational excursions in Cádiz province
In early September, TA organised excursions to wind and solar farms in Cádiz for a group of american university students
In September, students from the floating university “Semester At Sea” joined the first educational excursions dedicated to Renewable Energy in Cádiz province, organised by the receptive agent Tailormade Andalucia.
The students, from various universities throughout North America, with studies in renewable energies, sustainable energy and climate change, visited a wind farm and a solar park in the province. The group was accompanied by Dr Jesus Martinez Linares, expert in the field of renewable energies, as well as on-site engineers and technicians in each of the parks.
The excursions were a prodigious success, reflected in the positive feedback received from the participants. The excursions helped highlight the growth and progression of renewable energies in Cádiz and in Spain. Students were made aware of the importance of these energies, their current situation and above all their future, a future in which green energy and sustainable energies will become protagonists on the world stage.
This innovative and pioneering product demonstrates Tailormade Andalucia’s continued efforts to offer a unique perspective of Cádiz to its visitors. Through this original and progressive creation they have created a precedent. The huge success of these excursions marks a new era of renewable tourism that they hope to strengthen and expand in the near future.
