Tailormade Andalucia interviewed on national Radio 1!
Spanish radio 1 Saturday programme "comer y Cantar" interview Sam Lister about the pioneering product ¡Vamos GPS!
On Saturday September 5th, Tailormade Andalucia reached the homes of over 3 million Spanish listeners on one of the most popular national radio programmes "Comer y Cantar".
The programme, focusing on gastronomy and day to day Spanish current affairs conducted a phone interview with Sam Lister about TA's brand new product ¡Vamos! GPS. ¡Vamos! GPS combines a GPS and a printed guide illustrating nearly 200 points of interest in Cádiz province. Tourists can browse the guide and choose a place of interest, programme it into the GPS and follow instructions right to their destination!
They can discover secret beaches, the white villages, the best restaurants and tapas bars, watersports, bodegas and golf courses. They can even drive to the most popular local fiestas! Nearly 4 million tourists visit Cádiz province every year and many decide to hire cars. Most do not want to join large excursions. Now they can benefit from expert advice and guidance in reaching their destination without sharing their experiences with strangers. They can plan each day with their own itineraries and at their own pace.
Since the interview, interest over this innovative product has rocketed. Sam is currently talking with the Spanish Tourist Board, local tourist offices and hotels in order to offer the GPS to national and international tourists within the province.
