Restaurante El Faro is a culinary success story in Cadiz. Just look at the wall photos of previous clients to get an idea of its popularity. Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry, the king of Spain to name a few! Many of its waiters have been working there for over 30 years. Service is slick and everything runs like clockwork. Then of course there is the food. The restaurant specialises in fresh fish from the bay of Cadiz of which the fish of the day "a la sal" (baked in salt) is to die for. The sit-down menu is a bit more pricey than the norm, but it is totally justified by the dishes, service and ambience. However, if you just want a snack, just through the swing doors you will find the bar which offers numerous tapas at a reasonable price. This is a great place to stop at if you are having a day in Cadiz.
